Interactive Classroom Technology (ICT)

I mentioned that I was attending an ICT training course this semaster. I've been learning some fun and interesting ways to design interactive lessons by using IWB and the software.
Below are some ideas that our trainer had taught us in class for the past 4 weeks.

We may use the special pen to write on the IWB anywhere and anytime.
It's more convenient than using PPT because it's more dynamic, thus, teachers don't need to stay by the computer and type all the time.

Reveal tool and spotlight tool are really great and fun for guessing games to students.
With the tools lessons might be more exciting and interactive.
Eraser tool also has very usful funtions.
This software provides digital clocks which may be used for countdown in games, or for discussion in class.
Moreover, dice tool can be used for board games as well.

Sound effects and sound recording functions can be integrated into board games as well.
Teachers may record vocabulary, sentences, description, or even stories beforehand, and then play the sounds during the designed activities. It's really time- saving and energy-saving for teachers. You don't even need to say anything but just click on the icon on IWB, and the sound can be repeated as many times as you want.

This slapping game combines the sound tool and the scoring tool. Have students listen to the sound files and hit the right fruit.
It's surprising that IWB can be hit on and no damage will be caused.

By creating an eraser as a reveal tool, the guessing game can be played in different interesting ways. Some pictures and words are hidden behind the top layer(pictures), students need to figure out and guess what's behind by using the eraser.

Photos and pictures can be downloaded from any websites, and be copied and pasted onto the flipchart directly. The link is connected from the flipchart.

This is another funny way to use a special eraser tool to play guessing game.
Behind the black rectangle are some sentences, and students need to figure out all the article by moving the "special eraser".
It'll surly make students carzy about English lessons.
Isn't it cool enough to motivate your students and draw their attention?
